Pattillo Industrial Real Estate Announcement

April 16, 2015

Pattillo Industrial Real Estate has announced that they will develop a 265,000 square foot speculative building in Cartersville Business Park in Bartow County, GA. Located one-half mile off I-75 at Exit 296 (Cassville White Road), Cartersville Business Park is a 188 acre master planned industrial development fully entitled with all utilities, industrial zoning, 100% freeport tax exemption, and park covenants that will support 1.7 million square feet of buildings. The park will accommodate buildings ranging in size from 50,000 square feet – 600,000 square feet buildings for warehouse, distribution, and manufacturing use.

“Bartow County is demonstrating the visionary leadership that encourages economic development”, said Larry Callahan, CEO of Pattillo Industrial Real Estate. “This strong leadership and the prime location on Interstate 75 motivated Pattillo Industrial Real Estate to open this new master planned industrial park with this first speculative building. Working with elected officials, the Development Authority and professionals at the Bartow Chamber of Commerce, we will create a business environment that will stimulate further investment and bring appealing jobs to Bartow County. “

Melinda Lemmon, Executive Director of Cartersville-Bartow Dept. of Economic Development, said, “Pattillo Industrial Real Estate are not strangers to Bartow County, having built a number of buildings over several decades. We’re so happy that we will soon add another great building with the advantages of size, ceiling height and other specifications that have been carefully thought out by Pattillo. I suspect that with Pattillo’s quality product and their understanding of this market along with the advantages that Bartow County offers, this building won’t be on the market very long.”

The new speculative building, which will be the first building constructed in the industrial park, will feature concrete tilt wall construction, a 30’ clear ceiling height, a 185’ deep truck court with trailer storage capacity (61 parks), up to 49 dock doors, up to 295 car parks, an ESFR sprinkler system, and a 7” concrete floor slab. The building will be designed to provide the occupant the ability to design their office space, mechanical, and electrical systems to their specifications.
