Mr. Chris Thomas - Project Manager for Cartersville-Bartow County Department of Economic Development

Mr. Chris Thomas joins the Cartersville-Bartow County Department of Economic Development as Project Manager.  In this key position Chris will help implement initiatives to facilitate the retention, expansion, and support of existing industries and act as a community liaison for projects through construction, and transition those companies in the existing industries program.  Chris brings to the team 15 years of experience in property development, business development, community-based organizations, as well as a passion to serve and promote the economic vitality of this community. 

Chris is a graduate of Kennesaw State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.  He and his wife Jenny have two children, Lauren (8) and Landon (3), and they reside in Taylorsville.  Chris and his family are members of Taylorsville Baptist Church where he also serves on staff as the Director of Music.
