Cartersville-Bartow County Economic Development Annual Presentation

At the Bartow-Cartersville Joint Development Authority's meeting today, staff shared that of the projects that considered Bartow County in 2013, 16 of those projects intend to add 1,570 positions collectively, and invest an estimated $505,150,000 in Bartow County over the next several years. Projects including the expansion of Toyo Tire North America near White, the new Shaw Industries Group-Carpet Tile facility in Adairsville, the new Academy Sports store in Cartersville, the expansion at Adairsville’s Vulcan quarry, investments at Shaw’s Plant X and Anheuser-Busch/InBev, progress at LakePoint Sporting Community & Town Center, and several individual manufacturing success stories that collectively are notable in their own right.
